Letter to RFK Jr from Matrim, 7th grader at Wildfire Academy

Writer: Mia SagissorMia Sagissor

Dear Robert F. Kennedy Jr

My name is Matrim Lachance. My parents own a farm in Trinity, Texas that they have owned for two years. I am also a student at an Acton Affiliate called Wildfire Academy located in Missouri City, Texas. I wanted to write this letter to express my gratitude for your concern for and action taken regarding the health crisis that is dearly affecting our country. When I first saw your work/campaign for president I was deeply troubled by the statement that we as a nation are experiencing severe health decline even when we have state-of-the-art medicine and research.

I truly appreciate what you have done and wanted to share my thoughts. When you were not invited to the Presidential debate, you displayed a lot of humility and composure. You maintain your poise and chose to host your event, where you thoughtfully addressed the same questions posed to the other candidates. This approach not only showcased your leadership but also reinforced the credibility and integrity of your administration. I also thought you showed a lot of composition when you weren't allowed Secret Service protection.

You have inspired me and the things I do by showing me how compassion and kindness can help both people and the world prosper. For example, your contributions to Children's Health Defense have demonstrated the power of dedication and care. You have greatly influenced me by teaching me to help and inform others about health crises and how to develop healthy habits that lead to a long and happy life. Your example has motivated me to take action in my community, spreading awareness and making a difference wherever I can such as going with my mom to the Weston A. Price Foundation meet-ups that further help and aid people to be healthy and raise awareness of the medical industry's cruelty.

The most impactful lesson I have learned from you is to not look down on people but work to encourage and educate them. I think this lesson that I have learned from you will carry on because, at my current age, I make the mistake of looking down on people when they are wrong or have a differing opinion from me when it should be working to encourage them and educate them on why I may be right.  In conclusion, I have learned a lot from you and I think these lessons will carry on in my personal life, and if they don't you will be an everlasting reminder of that so have a wonderful four years and God bless.

Sincerely,

Matrim Lachance
